2. new job
3. continue viola ray
Okay, so option 1 is out. It seems that the doors keep closing on reaching higher education ha! I've been engulfed in the role of lost little girl in the big world. I had no idea how hard it truly was to get classes. Boy, my friends weren't kidding! I finally took the time to scope out my options, & looks like "welding" was the only class open. BOO. Won't lie; i was bummed because I was excited to go to school...but with all the blocked opportunities that arose in the midst of simply trying to register... i've come to the conclusion that its just not time for me this semester.
Which leaves me with two options: search for a new job, or completely move forward with Viola Ray; no regrets. Anything to pay them bills! ;D
Anyway, I would love to share this lovely excerpt from a book I'm reading....

"Our problem is not so much that God doesn't give us what we hope for as it is that we don't know the right thing for which to hope. Hope is not what you expect; it is what you would never dream. It is a wild, improbably tale with a pinch-me-I'm-dreaming ending. it's Abraham adjusting his bifocals so he can see not his grandson, but his son. It's Moses standing in the promised land not with Aaron or Miriam at his side, but with Elijah and the transfigured Christ. It's Zechariah left speechless at the sigh of his wife, Elizabeth, gray-headed and pregnant. And it is the two Emmaus-bound pilgrims reaching out to take a piece of bread only to see that the hands from which it is offered are pierced.
Hope is not a granted wish or a favor performed; no, it is far greater than that. It is a zany, unpredictable dependence on a God who loves to surprise us out of our socks and be there in the flesh to see our reaction."

I like this quote. I often think to myself, whatever God wants for me is probably not something I can fathom, so I just follow after him in the daily little choices of life knowing the bigger picture will fall into place!
thanks for posting this :)
