DIY BUSINESS CARDS

hey. so listen. when you're short on cash, the creativity bug bites yah & leaves yah in hives all over! so here's how I made my own custom business cards for under $10 & guess what.. you can too ;D

business1

Believe it or not, God just decided to surprise me with a "100 Free Black/White Business Cards!" coupon from Staples in my email. I went the same day & made this with it.

But they needed some color, eh?

Bought some spray paint (gold + blue ocean + jade)

Jade was first, then the blue ocean, then splatters of gold.

He was having lots of fun....can't cha tell?...

oh & speaking about favorites..here's my favorite man in the world. you can tell we were
both exhausted..this was on a Sunday. we were both broke so we decided to stay in w/ my mama & watch "The Glee Project"..while he fell asleep on the couch.. and so did my mom actually...so i guess i should say .. "I" decided hahah. pretty uneventful by normal standards, but for me it was nice just to be in his presence. its rare that we ever get quality time.

so go out there & make your own business cards! hug someone you love! conquer the world! heheh

In other news, today is indeed "Music Monday," however I didn't have time
from work & visiting my grandma, so I thought I'd post a duet that me & my
good friend Pritz did at our friend Jessica's wedding last year:
spend my life with you (Eric Benet & Tamia). Crappy resolution but the
audio is pretty clear. This one of my favorite love songs!
We messed up, but, oh well! enjoy it! ;D

update on grammycakes: SHE'S NO LONGER IN THE ICU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She was moved to a regular room which means that she's doing much better.
Having a colonoscopy is no longer on the schedule because her heart rate just won't go down, but at least the bleeding has stopped. I'm so grateful & humbled by everyone's prayers & encouraging thoughts. Warm hugs to all of you.

I finally have the kraft jewelry boxes in my hands!
If you're looking for a great company to order from, Uline is wonderful.
Due to living near one of their warehouses, I was able to avoid the shipping cost ($10.00) and
just picked up my order instead.
The representative was so kind & helpful.
The warehouse was absolutely MASSIVE!
I can go on & on..there's just something special about awesome customer service.
Keeps ya comin' back!
So after I get my bubble mailers, I'm good to go w/ starting my etsy shop! I'm so excited!
As of now, I'm just trying to finalize the final look for the packaging.
Below are a few of my favorite flickr pics on etsy packaging.
So cute & lovely. Click on each picture for the link.
Anybody else know of any other resources where I can get some cool wrapping ideas?
Let me know! :)

p.s. apologies for poor & repetitive writing on this post. I mean look at that,
I just realized that I have THE most original title ever! My brain feels like spaghetti
due to utter exhaustion this week. so forgive me if this post seems sporadic & a
tad bit in chunks & pieces. hope everyone's having a wonderful week!
