LIFETIMES AND SWEET BITES

Ello ello! Boy have I been tired this week! I've had 10 hour workdays with my mom due to only having one car. My baby shook, rattled & rolled its way onto the driveway and has been there for about 3 weeks now. Still waiting for some funds to get it fixed..but in the meantime, just trusting that the Lord always has a purpose for these things. I latch onto the promise that "all things work together for good for those who love the Lord!" Here are some photos of a cupcake order I did for last weekend..I was actually quite pleased with the results! It was a bit of a reliever to have my sweetheart there on hand. It was one of the few times in life I could boss him around and be short all at the same time and it wouldn't matter. And he knows it! Times like these, I don't exhale until the cupcakes have been set up, delivered, and we've left! These were all done the morning of & those make-shift business cards were done in a span of 10 minutes--you can imagine how quickly I was hurrying.

+i put the italian meringue cookies on after since I didn't want them to get soggy :)
+did you guys know you could print directly onto index cards?! Maybe I'm so late on that, but I was SO thrilled!

in other news, I just finished a biography about the famous missionary Jim Elliott. He was one amongst 5 missionaries who were slain while trying to minister to the Auca/Waorani tribe in Ecuador. His legacy was inspiring & showed an example of what a life "wrecklessly abandoned" to God would look like. A quote that I love...

"one does not surrender a life in an instant--that which is lifelong can only be surrendered in a lifetime. I can only surrender to the will of God as I know what that will is."
have a fabulous weekend my friends! do some exploring & avoid LA at all costs! #carmageddon ha!
