LOVING LOVEABLE PEOPLE
A few momentous events have occured since I've last blogged:
-I've started school :) no academic classes available=helooooo music program! I auditioned today for the vocal/jazz choir. I hope i get in!
-My grandma's been in the hospital & isn't doing so well. She has kidney failure =T
-We celebrated my mom's 59th birthday last Saturday!
-I now have a working car again :)
-The missionaries from our church who went to the Philippines are all here in America again. Safe & sound. Their stories & lessons learned were such a blessing to all of us.
-Our church celebrated our 23rd anniversary this past Sunday.
There are other sweet/sour minute details that I'm forgetting, but here's the bulk of it. As you can see, I've been very very blessed & hopefully i may elaborate on a few of those events later. For now, please keep my grandma in your prayers because she's definitely the woman who made me who I am today. I wouldn't speak my native tongue, know about hospitality..or kindness... or virtue if it wasn't for her. Many say my luscious locks are my crowning glory. I get all my hairiness from my grandma hahaha. Even at 82 years of age, she still has peach fuzz and a full head of hair.
Anyway, God's been teaching me a lot of lessons lately. He always desires to do this for me..its just that sometimes I don't want to listen. I'd like to ask... do you ever get disappointed in anyone? Of course the answer would be yes, right?! I read this devotion recently and would like to share an excerpt with you :)
and another excerpt..
hope this will blessed you today & changed a bit of your perspective. I know it did for me. :]

" if we love someone, but do not love God, we demand total perfection and righteousness from that person, and when we do not get it we become cruel and vindictive; yet we are demanding of a human being something which he or she cannot possibly give. There is only one Being who can completely satisfy to the absolute depth of the hurting human heart, and that is the Lord Jesus Christ."
and another excerpt..
"Our Lord trusted no one, and never placed His faith in people, yet He was never suspicious or bitter. Our Lord’s confidence in God, and in what God’s grace could do for anyone, was so perfect that He never despaired, never giving up hope for any person. If our trust is placed in human beings, we will end up despairing of everyone."
hope this will blessed you today & changed a bit of your perspective. I know it did for me. :]
